When the paddy field is calling
Whoever has been to Asia surely has admired the paddy fields, which first appear in a bright green then turn to a dark lush green and finally shimmer golden like a ripe wheat field. But what appears romantic from a distance and offers a beautiful photo object, turns out to be very hard work, especially once you’re involved in this drudgery yourself. We were too late this spring in the children’s village Little Smile, and as the saying goes, rain punishes those who come late. No use for laments! The Farm "Little Smile Organic"
In 2005 7 kilometers from the children's village Little Smile Mahagedara, a farm for spices was started. From the beginning, the use of chemicals and poisons was forbidden. A fair environment for workers, mostly women with children in dire need, was also a given. In addition, young people who had dropped out of school were given a chance in Dikkapitia, the name of the farm, to learn organic agriculture. Little Smile Organic also set under contract from the beginning that Little Smile Organic Ltd. would each year provide the children's village Mahagedara with rice, and pay for it, so long the company exists.

10 years – Adventure Humanity

Almost 4000 days and nights working for children in need, for widows and deserted women, Little Smile Sri Lanka celebrates quietly, but with a smile.
The DVD also offers in a separate document a current overview of a significant part of LSA’s projects – from the children’s villages and homes, places for widows, schools, training centers and hospitals up to an own nature reserve area and plantations for organic farming.
Price per DVD including distribution in Germany € 10, outside Germany € 8.50 + shipping costs.
